What started as an effort to offer her family a healthier beverage option grew into Birmingham’s first commercial kombucha brewery. In 2015, Nancey’s family decided to give up soda and find a fizzy drink that was not only better for them but also delighted their taste buds. One year later, it wasn’t just their taste buds that were satisfied. Nancey’s Kombucha, known as Better Kombucha, had taken over Birmingham’s farmers’ markets and become so popular that Nancey began commercially distributing her kombucha. Better Kombucha’s commitment to wellness, community, and integrity had such a profound impact across Alabama and the Southeast that it was recognized with a Good Food Award in 2022—a true testament to the joy their products bring to others.

Today, you can find Better Kombucha in over 200 locations across the Southeast, including Bailey’s Farmer’s Market and Nursery here in Pensacola, FL. Stop by on Saturday, March 8th, from 11 AM to 1 PM to sample the Better Kombucha everyone is raving about.
